Super Admin permissions not transferring to Wordpress

I've set up Wordpress and I've linked aMember to it.

My Super Admin in aMember is the same username as in Wordpress, and password.

I can log in to Wordpress through wordpress log in, but I can't see any protected posts.
When I try to log into Wordpress via aMember, it won't log in - user name and password not recognised. It won't send an email to reset the password, says my email address isn't on the database.

I can log directly into aMember though.

What have I done wrong/not done?

The admin systems arent connected. You need to create a user/admin in wordpress.

I am having the same problem. When I try to create a new user or edit the WP admin from the WP admin area, it takes me to the aMember login. Even if I click the "edit profile" link in the WP bar, it take same to the aMember login.
