Sign up page - add instructions without an input field

On the sign up page I want to add the instruction to the new member to write down their User name & password before proceeding. I have done a mock up using the add field but I don't want an input box, just the text instructions. How can I add the text as in the attached mock up but without an input box?

I have just found a fix or a possible work around. When I add my user field "Write down your user name and password before proceeding" and then add the brick to the form, if I then configure it to "Read only" the input box disappears and only the Text instruction remains as attached.
Is this an OK way to do this or should I be adding this text instruction into the sign up form in a different way?
