Is there a way to create a little form for my sidebar that takes name and email and subscribes them to a newsletter in Amember? Using Wordpress of course.
Good idea Kelly. But, I would recommend using a 3rd party mail service like aweber to handle the larger "Free" member list. A company like aweber specializes in email deliverability, and can also show you open rates and other stats. I sometimes put the aweber signup in front, so its a single opt-in, then the amember signup page as the aweber thank you page, so that I can collect additional info- if they dont complete the info, I still have them in aweber David
