If all you need to know is that they are logged in you do not need a plugin. If something needs to be added then you would also need the handling for subscription cancelled etc would you not?

Yes we would need to add a user to our database when someone signs up through the aMember site. We haven't worked out if we are going to handle cancelations manually or through the web service. Re-billing would also need to be able to call this same plug-in.
Before we spend too much time on the details. If you're confident you can write the plug-in, what is the rate per hour or flat fee, that you would expect for writing a plug-in of this nature? And approximately how long do you think it would take you?
