I think most of us agree with the goal that a potential customer visits a one-page checkout where they enter the billing and cc details first for payment, and then after they create their username and password. This would increase sign-ups monumentally. That being said, the only shopping cart I see that integrates with amember to do this is 1shoppingcart (1SC). The main problem with 1SC is that it cannot handle recurring paypal payments if the buyer wanted to choose paypal option rather than credit card during checkout. They do have this capability if it's a one-time payment, but not recurring subscription payments. Since 1SC checkout page can be modified to match my site, I thought about including the paypal checkout button in my header as an image and have it click-able so that it redirects to the traditional amember signup page where I'll have paypal express as the only payment method. I'll try and customize this amember signup page to look as close as possible to the 1SC page. I plan on using paypal pro as the payment gateway. Is what I'm thinking reasonable - do you have any advice on a better shopping cart that integrates? I wish amember would make it so that the customer can pay on a narrow short page similar to the 1SC look and then signup after.
