Facebook Plugin Domain Error

I am trying to set up login in with facebook on our v4 installation. I am setting up new app and setting the App ID and Secret directly into the plugin screen but I am getting a returned "Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration" when I try to sign up for a new account. I have website domain set up and the web app URL in the facebook settings as well. Anyone have any experience with this error and know of a fix?

ok, I found that on the developers facebook page you need to add platform - website enter the site url. select save.

As soon as I did this everything kicked in.
