Hi there, I'm looking to start up a membership based site using amember and clickbank's recurring billing feature. I have amember installed and my test purches through clickbank seem to be doing fine, but I do have a few questions (I wish they had a FAQ about clickbank use, because it seems to me these are pretty common questions.) Question 1: Will amember restrict access to the site once someone cancels their subscription through clickbank, or will this have to be done manually? Question 2: I read that Clickbank and Amember have to be set up identically. How do I make sure Amember sets the recurring access to every 30 days? Right now, in my CP > Manage Products field, the "Recurr." column says "No." Question 3: Do clickbank affiliates still get credit for the recurring sale even though I'm using amember? I read in another post there was an issue with affiliates getting credit through clickbank, but I'm not sure how recent that post was. Any help would be appreciated. Matt
Me too... I am also searching around looking for those answers as well. Please reply to this post for all to see. Thanks, -e
Since a rebill doesn't happen, they will loose access. So that part is automatic. However, refunds need to be manually processed. Set recurring to yes and make sure your renewal periods are the same. Also, you cant do trial periods with 3.0.9 and clickbank. Yes, they should. As long as they came to your site using a hoplink and purchased the initial month with clickbank, clickbank should credit them for the rebilling. David
So, if a member cancels their subscription through clickbank, the subscription will expire in the amember database and the customer will no longer have access after the month that they've paid for? I want to make sure there is as little manual intervention required as possible. Thanks, John
