I upgraded MySQL on my server and I now receive the following error: Script Error Error establishing a database connection. Please contact site webmaster if this error does not disappear long time Indeed, it has been several hours. Can you please assist me with a solution? Thank you!
To give some insight into how I eventually resolved this.... I was working with my web host at the same time I was posting here, trying to coordinate everyone together. Here is a cut and paste of what my web host did to fix everything: Just after resolving that, I started receiving errors on a cron job that was previously set up to run every day. Here is the error I started receiving in the admin backend of aMember: And, here is the resolution that my web host came up with: After these two adjustments were made, everything was working without error. Hope this helps!
This would appear to confirm passwords are the problem. As I posted in another thread think it is the different way passwords are encoded (or handled) on server, PHP5.4 is not able to resolve them.
Alex if this is the solution to this problem, which sooner or later, is going to affect quite a few people can this solution be made in the form of a 'sticky'?
