I have a site the main site is WordPress. The product that is being sold is on HTML subdomain pages.

We presently use amember to protect the HTML pages. The WordPress site is our main site and is the domain that is licensed in amember

My question is can we set up member content in our present WordPress and still have protection for the product pages. What plugins and configuration do I need to do?

Yes, you would integrate wordpress and amember, and create pages in wordpress for the content, then protect them with amember (using either the wordpress plugin for amember or 3rd party plugin like amprotect)
What version of amember are you using?

I am using v4.1.9 Will the wordpress plugin affect the protection on the HTML product pages that are now protected? The product pages are subdomains with unique URL's

No it will not affect protection that you have in place already.
