Serials add on

I am curious if the serials addon will do the following...

If I sell a main product (membership) can add multiple software add-on products; each using its own serial list it takes a serial from a provided list.

And can I add addition products to the main products in the future and it will allow existing users to get a serial when I modify the main product to include the additional software.

What I am trying to do is sell a membership that will include software added over time as it is created to the membership and the customers get their serials from the serial plugin for each added software.

I hope this makes sense, just wasn't sure how the serials addon works, but I can generate serial lists for it to pull from which I read is how it works, but did not see if you could assign multiple products using different serial lists under 1 account ( membership )
