Product Upgrades

    Product A - $30/month billed monthly
    Product B - $75 billed every 3 months

    If I have the product upgrade path set for the above subscriptions, must the user cancel his first subscription to Product A BEFORE upgrading to the Product B subscription? I have the upgrade set to use remaining portion of subscription as discount to upgrade.

    Depends on used payment system previous subscription either will be canceled automatically
    or admin receive email notification with request to cancel first subscription manually. So customer do not need to cancel first subscription before upgrade.

    I use Paypal for the payment system. I performed a test subscription. When I chose to subscribe to Product B plan, it treated it as an additional subscription and did not cancel Product A subscription. What is the correct procedure for a user to "upgrade" or change subscription?

    Customer on his dashboard in widget 'Active Subscription' against 'Product A' should see link 'upgrade'. Use this link to upgrade your current subscription.
