I'm currently using V3. I wrote a little plugin that generates a license key in AMember (just a hash of the user email) that my members use to update their software automatically on their servers IF they have an active & paid subscription. I understand that all custom code/plugins will have to be re-written in V4. My question is: Is there a "built in" way to generate such a key (just needs to be some kind of unique identifier for each member that is stored in the DB) in V4? If so, please provide a link to docs. If not, any hints would be appreciated so we can prepare for V4 (which looks great).
