May you all live in peace! We have recently purchased aMember to integrate it into Moodle 2.0.3. The integration has gone well and new users can sign up and sign in for the courses. But, we have two major issues: (Any help would be greatly appreciated) When users sign up for a course, they are assigned student level access to Moodle courses but there appears to be no way to sign up users as teachers / admins. We could not even find a way to create our moodle admin's account in aMember with all rights to Moodle content. 1. How can we setup so that when a user signs up, proper role is assigned to user? and 2. How can we add our moodle admin to amember so that it has full access to Moodle? Thanks in anticipation for any help.
I don't recommend to do number 2. There can be issues. In regards to number 1, contact us in helpdesk we will help.
May you live in peace Alex! First of all thanks to your response. I have heard a lot about your helping attitude in Moodle forums and at aMember too. We are really stuck. We have been contacting help desk since last 5 days but no outcome is there. We only have two little issue: 1. When user logs into Moodle, it is not automatically is logged in to aMember. Whereas if user logs into aMember, it automatically gets logged into moodle. We are looking to have the user logged into aMember when user logs into Moodle. Please suggest in this regard. 2. Currently, user signs up using aMember signup page but we do not find a way to assign different roles to users. So, they have different access levels to Moodle content. Please help us out. We are to start beta testing on Dec 5, so please help us out quickly. All details of our installation have already been submitted to help desk under ticket id: NKM-87933-615 Looking anxiously to hear from you. Regards.
