We are currently moving a site from another product to AMember. We have three levels of membership currently billed through PayPal on an annual basis. Billing date for each user is the date the original signed up. The renewal is handled on the PayPal side.

We are also looking at increasing the annual fees for new and existing members.

Does anyone know what the process is in PayPal to get this done?
Do users have to cancel their existing subscription and signup again with a new product?
Is there a way in AMember to migrate users to a new product. For example by setting up a membership level again with a higher price and automatically migrate users over?

Is this something that could be done easier in Stripe or is it just as complex?

In addition we are also considerating moving our existing members from PayPal to Stripe. Stripe told us PayPal can migrate our data across but recommended against it as it can take PayPal an eternity to get this done. Stripe have advised us there migrating membership levels is possible via their API.
