I have about 150 subscibers/members already in WP database. Do they need to be imported into Amember? Via csv? How do I sync them with Amember? I was using WL Member plugin. But now need to get them synced with Amember and assigned to the correct product.
Your gonna need to export them out of wordpress and then import them into amember. The problem is that wordpress uses an encoded password, so these wont come out of wordpress properly.Im not 100% sure of the 4.x version of amember but in the prior versions- the syncc was one way amember->wordpress not the other way around. You'll need to have amember generate a new password for them on importing, and then send them all an email. David
Thanks, David, Do I then delete them from WP? Also, importing into Amember via csv... which format do I use? Ver4 example uses semi-colons... and at the end of each line. Login;Pass;Email;Name F;Name L; 5flat;abcd1234;xxxxxxxx@sbcgloba.net;Wil;Ed; The csv I have uses commas... with no comma at end of a line. Login,Pass,Email,Name F,Name L 5flat,abcd1234,xxxxxxxx@sbcgloba.net,Wil,Ed
No. users will be updated after Rebuild DB. This really does not matter. You will be able to specify format when you will import.
That worked. 1: Now, how do I assign those users to a product? 2: Also, do I make them Subscribers, or Amember Active?
John, 1. Mass subscribe is not implemented yet. We plan to implement this feature at the end of current week. If you need help faster, I can create a script that will assign subscription to all users (once). Just explain how this should be done in email to me. 2. Set it to "Subscribers". amember active group will be added automatically.
