Can't access aMember dashboard or pages after move from Ionos to Hostgator

    Good day,

    After moving my site from Ionos (previously 1&1 hosting) to Hostgator I can't access my amember dashboard or any of login and protected pages.

    I get the error:

    Script Error
    Error establishing a database connection. Please contact site webmaster if this error does not disappear long time

    Does anyone mind assisting and giving advice on how to fix.

    Hi

    I followed the instructions on this page: https://www.amember.com/forum/threads/database-error.22607/#post-78324 and edited this file with my new database credentials: aMember installation - Applicacation - Configs and open 'config.php'.

    Now the login page opens but with the error:
    An Error has occurred
    The database has encountered a problem, please try again later.

    Still looking through the forum but if anyone can assist I would greatly appreciate it.

    Hello Werner,

    Do you have any integration plugin (eg.: Wordpress)?
    In this case you need to update database access credentials for it too:
    aMember CP -> Configuration -> Setup/Configuration -> [Plugin Name]
