I am trying to get started with amember. The issue that I am running into is that I want to seperate my amember site from my main site by installing amember onto a subdomain. My question is, when I assign my domain name to my license am I using my main site (mysite.com) or my subdomain site (subdomain.mysite.com)?

Please understand that I am not very website html savvy, so please use beginner language best as possible.

It is far simpler, for you, to install aMember into a subdirectory and be done with it. If you diddle around with subdomaining it you need to set the cookie paths of both to the root url, the cookie path to '/' and most likely you will find issues with people not having correct access.

I recommend to assign license to main domain.
