I set everything up, a test campaign. I go to access my protected folder and I get "You have no access to Folder test (http://mysite.com/member-subscriptions/test). Visit order page to order additional subscriptions. " This is after ive logged into a test account
Check what you have set as the base URL in aMember configuration. If it is 'www.aMember-installation' then you must include the 'www.' in the address when you test the page. You can also check the URL the session cookie used when it was set. Page access must be the same otherwise you will get this error thrown up.
thanks. I think i understood what you said. My url inside amember in the protected product is http://mysite.com/member-subscriptions/test I navigate to http://mysite.com/member-subscriptions/test, log in, and get served the "denied" page. If it helps, i have /home/www/mysite.com/member-subscriptions/test as the path.
The problem can be in protection settings. Check what you have in amember CP -> Protect Content -> Folders -> Edit -> Access Permissions and make sure that your test user have active subscription to these products.
I checked and everything appears correct. Any other idea's? Id really like to get this going. I ran the tester php script and my hosting should work with it.
But it obviously ain't otherwise you wouldn't have this problem! Outsiders can only guess as we have no idea of site address so cannot check url cookie is being set under, and you don't give that info although it is suggested as a possible cause of the problem. The tester script will only determine if the hosting might be suitable for aMember to run. It will not discover protection conflicts - nor unfortunately will endless guesswork! Without at least a url you need to open a Helpdesk ticket with aMember with access info so they can solve this.
