I'm about ready to start my membership site with Amember but I'm a little confused. When I read about all the different plug-ins (which confuse the heck out of me), I see that Wordpress is listed as free ("WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time"). Then when I go to order, the Wordpress plug-in is $40, thus my confusion. Do I need the plug-in if I've never used Wordpress before? Does some form of Wordpress come "free" with Amember? Also, if I decide to add a plug-in later, is that a big deal or should it be done upon installation?
Wordpress is an open source CMS system- so its free to use. However, if you want to integrate amember into it, you will need to order the amember wordpress plugin in addition to the amember license. David
