I'm working on getting aMember and Wordpress set up correctly. I activated the aMember wordpress plugin, but I'm not sure its working correctly.

After activation, if I go to edit a page or post in Wordpress, the visual editor is gone and the existing text is gone. There is only white space in the box. If I switch to html editor then the code is still there, but nothing under the visual editor.

Also, when I go to the Widgets section in Wordpress, I can't open any widget areas or drag and drop the aMember login widget to the appropriate area.

Also, I'm not seeing the redirection settings in my posts or pages. I watched the tutorial videos and it looks like I should be able to redirect visitors to protected content based on their membership level. I do not see these settings.

I tried de-activating all other plugins. The problem persists when the aMember plugin is the only one active. I tried de-activating my theme and switched to the default Wordpress theme and the issue still persisted.

I submitted a support ticket almost 20 hours ago and I have not received a response yet and it looks like the support desk is now closed for the day.

Has anyone else had an issue like this? Any idea of what can be done to correct it?

I figured it out. I checked file permissions of the plugin and all the files were set to 600 which I thought was odd. So I changed them all to 644 (which is normal right?) and now everything is working!
