When I rebuild my Wordpress Database using the aMember Admin->Utilities->Rebuild Db I lose my Wordpress Admin privileges. I can see this in the MySQL database. I manually change them back via NaviCat, a MySQL GUI application but I am wondering why the aMember rebuild with even touch my WP Admin settings. Any thoughts? I have never had the problem before some seemingly unrelated Wordpress database issues earlier this week.
This issue is resolved. It seems that somehow I unchecked the important checkbox in the Wordpress Plugin for Admin Groups. That box must contain a check mark and the "Administrator" level selected. Somehow it was not set that way and performed exactly as it was set; very scary for a bit. I put a check mark in the box, set the level to "Administrator," rebuilt the database and everything was fine. Hope this helps someone else.
