Hi, Sorry to sound so extreme but if there are files that are encrypted that users cannot access only Amember Support, then what happens to all our memberships etc if that (under the most extreme circumstances) would occur?
So only 2 files are encrypted and they just handle the licensing side of things. There is no "call home" to aMember servers, just a key validation routine. If your server is already installed and running, CGI/Amember is not a factor. If you need to reinstall and do not have your original license key, this could be an issue for you, but hopefully you have that backed up somewhere or can retrieve it from your site backups.
