Inside of my forum I have a VIP area that I allow access to members who have spent a certain amount of time on the site who also have at least X posts & some members below these requirements also have access.

When I first integrated the plugin I manually changed the user group of all members who had access to the VIP area in vBulletin but it would seem that when a user's password is changed in aMember it reverts them back to a Regular user.

How would I go about changing a users group properly in vBulletin so that their usergroup remains as VIP?

The VIP access is given to members on the same subscription as the regular subscription so it is not a seperate product or paid extra.

    Well there are two ways:
    1. Create hidden product in aMember which will give access to VIP group and assign that product manually to user's account in amember.
    2. Add VIP group to admin groups in plugin configuration. This is not recommended because aMember will not control VIP users anymore.
