Is there a way to force vBulletin to use aMember for its signup? Right now, if I have a user that has already joined vBulletin, then tries to subscibe via aMember, they get an error that the username already exists. But the username really is not in aMember username. I like to keep the usernames the same on both, but that is hard to do if the user joins vBulletin first. What I'd really like to do is have the vBulletin signup jump to aMember, then jump back to vBulletin ~ without hacking vBulletin too much. Anybody done this? Am I doing something wrong? I do have the vBulletin plug-in for aMember and it seems to work fine, except in this situation. --Brian Assist.com
Brian, it is possible to do by modifing one vBulletin file - it will redirect to amember signup instead of actual vbulleting signup. Please contact support and it will be done.
