    Hello,

My situation is I currently have a vbulletin site with around 10k members.

I run phpcow (content management system) and want to limit access to certain areas of the CMS based on the vbulletin usergroups

The site is a free site so I am not looking for any paid subscription backend.

Can amember.com limit access based on vbulletin usergroups without having to ask everyone to sign back up in the amember.com registration

No, aMember is not suitable solution for your task, there can be more simple custom solutions.
To work efficiently, aMember must be a first point of registration and user management. If your site is around a vBulletin forum, it will be not very useful for you.
