Is it possible to use aMember on sister sites where there is essentially a single database of members for both sites? If so, how would this be setup (ex. would one install protect content on both sites or does it need to be installed on each site and then sync'ed)? Thanks.
Hi! It is installed on one site, whatever you may call sister or master, and then integrated to all other databases. Currently you can only import data or member information from a file into the amember database. Thereafter you need to rebuild your integrated databases for it to function correctly. Through the rebuilds, there will be several information wrritten into the amember database and all the necessary information will be pupulated into the ntegrated databases. UNFORTUNATELY there is no mysql import possibility. I have placed a request through support and hope that they come up with a solution for the mysql imports. This would mean that users would be imported directly through the mysql sysncronisation and one DOES not need to go through the torchurous import of files, etc...
