Users with same registration IP Address

    In the user profile page:
    Signup Info 99.254.172.71 at 11/03/11 14:09 Block This IP Address
    There is 124 users with same registration IP Address
    I don't know how 124 different users can have registered from the same IP address.
    Does anyone know what this message means?

    There are two possible reasons:
    1. Some ISPs (like AOL) use proxy servers for outgoing connections so all clients of such ISP will come from the same IP address.
    2. Your hosting provider uses frontend proxy and user's real IP is not forwarded correctly and in this case all new signups will come from proxy IP address.

    This could be either spammers signing up for your site, which you could usually tell if their names and/or email looks like it has been randomly generated.
    It could also be caused by the 2 things listed in the above post.
    This also happens if an admin adds lots of users manually from the Admin CP.
