Uploading individual ascii files

    When uploading the entire aMember folder it was instructed to do this in binary mode (rather than auto mode), meaning that ascii files also were uploaded binary. I have read that sometimes can be undesirable, depending on the server software.

    Question: if uploading only for example .php files, which are ascii, should they still be uploaded binary?

    It is better to use binary mode for all files.
