How difficult would it be to create a universal login across these two software applications?

If I have a 30k members on vbulletin and I want to begin using expression engine for my CMS, would it be difficult to create a single universal login so members can move between the two without having to maintain two accounts or login twice?

I, too, am really interested in the integration between vBulletin and ExpressionEngine.
Could one of the staffs shed some light on this bridging possibility at all, please?

Same here. Ready to buy a license, but I can't find any information on how this exactly works, and up to which versions are supported for vBulletin & Expression Engine.

Expression engine and VBulletin are both listed as available plugins for Amember:

    http://www.amember.com/integration.php

Version wise, I know VB at least up to 3.6.10 personally and have reports that 3.7+ is working.

    Can't speak to EE.

You can get an idea of how integration plugins work in general via the manual here:

Lastly, I believe the free trial includes the plugins so that you give it a test yourself:
