Unable to Cancel expired invoice

    I imported a bunch of customers from DAP and many had recurring subscriptions which had expired months ago. The system is not charging the clients for these as they are past the expiry date (months even years) but it still shows under their invoice an option to stop recurring though it expired a long time ago.

    I tried to stop recurring the invoice on a monthly payment that expired 12/30/09 just in case it ever tries to charge the person but I get an error saying "unable to cancel the subscription"

    How can I stop all those expired recurring orders or will the system never try to charge them in the future and I don't have to worry about it?
