Forgive me if I have overlooked this, as I have been doing a huge amount of reading, but....can I offer a free trial period subscription followed by a monthly charge if I use this software together with 1ShoppingCart?

    Thanks

@nigp: I think the general best practice is to set your trial to at least $1 for a number of reasons including:

    * people creating fake accounts to continuing receiving trial
    * some payment providers require a min of $1 to initiate payment recursion

I agree with Skippy, a $1 trial will help you avoid the true freeby seekers, and repeat signupers. But i think you should probably test both free and $1 trials, to see if this is a problem in your niche.

1sc can handle both, $1 and free trials.
Just make sure its clear that after the trial period they will be billed for $XX every 30 days.
