I downloaded the amember software pro version about 6 months ago and set up a Free Beta product to get attract some new users. I have about 1300 users signed up, which is great, although I would like to transition them into paying customers. Ideally, I would like to give the product a trial period of say 1 month, then start charging them a yearly fee to access the site. Should I edit the current beta product to include the trial information or create a new separate product? If I create a new product what happens to the old "Free Beta" version?
2 ways. 1) expire all the old members using phpmyadmin.... then send out an email/expiration notice that they can continue at XX a month. 2) add a new product and send out an email telling them to upgrade to the new paid product. David
