    I noticed a something strange....

On my Wp Site i show videos depending on the users log in state (Wordpress).
When a user views a blog post an is not logged into Wp only a teaser video will be shown.
If the user is logged in the full Video is shown.
This is done via the Wordpress conditional Tag is_user_logged_in()

    This worked fine so far.

After the Update to V4 this stopped working.

It seems like amember doesnt log users into Wordpress anymore. All other amember function are working fine. Also when i create a user in amember it gets created in Wordpress too.

I disabled the amember WP-plugin to test this with just the normal Wordpress Login System and it worked as it should.
This leads me to the assumption that amember isnt updating the users Login State in Wordpress.

    Am i right ??
Are there any option for an workaround or maybe a solution ??

    Thanks Sascha

    Sasha,
there definitely must be a solution. Could you please submit a ticket with urls and test login info, so we could review and fix it?

What about letting aMember hide/show your videos...

Take a look at the aMember shortcode protection feature on this Wiki page.
You should be able to wrap your video embed code with protection shortcodes; however, I have not personally tried it.

There are two types of protection shortcodes:

    1. Content Display Shortcodes for Guests
    2. Content Display Shortcodes Based on Subscriptions
