I have finally settled on Authorize.Net CIM and implemented it this morning. My understanding is that Authorize.Net CIM wants an SSL certificate. I have now obtained one. So the question of the day is, what do I do with it? Do I install it in the root directory or aMember directory? Is it only used when the Authorize.Net CIM is processing payment info or can it be used for other web purposes? I am not bad on some stuff, but I am a virgin when it come to this.

    Thank you.

You need contact your hosting support and ask them to install SSL certificate for your site. Then in aMember setting go to aMember Cp -> Configuration -> Setup/Configuration (Root Url and License Keys) and change secure root url to https.

This certificate will affect all your site and you can open any page of your site with https.
