We sell WordPress themes using Amember. We want to integrate a way to License our files, so that we can give the users license key using which they can than activate their copy (similarly to what Amember does, while selling Amember) How can we integrate such feature with the Amember. Few other Ecommerce solutions have started to give the extensions for Licensing the files, Is there some extension or way to do that using Amember as well.
We are working on software licensing module, it will allow (optionally) license activation and period verification of license (call-home functionality). I hope to get it finished by end of November.
Thats a great news Alex. I know lots of other Themes & Plugins developer who use Amember for payment processing and wanted the Software Licensing thing in it. Integration of Licensing would make Amember a totally unique solution. Waiting anxiously for the update.

I hate to be a stick in the mud, but you guys ought to stop making promises of these things for this date or that date. I get coding takes time, and ensuring you release quality plugins and modules are important, but you've made a number of commitments for things such as this and the aWeber integrations. I'm not trying to be a dick but I wanted to say that.
And another 'yes, please' here. I'll be selling software for the first time by the end of the year. Having activation codes native to Amember would be superb. Meanwhile... there's already integration with various payment providers who offer this. Or am I missing something crucial?
