Hi I'm attempting to add a question to the sign up form via the form editor. I do this by the following: 1) Drag over "random question" block to the left 2) Click the "random question" configuration 3) Enter my question but don't provide an answer after the pipe When I try using the signup form it always says that the question answer is invalid. For this particular question, there is no particular answer, just that the user entered something. I tried various wildcard/blank combinations: my question my question | my question | * But it forces you to provide an answer. Is there a way around this restriction? Thanks for any help
That brick is an alternative to captcha. You define question with several answers where only one is correct. Then user should select correct answer in order to proceed with signup. if you just need to add question and want to save results in user profile after signup, add custom field with question in aMember CP -> Add Fields and then place it to signup form.
