We are looking for something that will allow us to have paid subscribers, but also allow people to pay for downloadable software. Subscribers would get a discount on the downloadable software, but non-subscribers can make the purchase also. Can aMember accomplish this? I have downloaded the trial version, but can't seem to add any products besides subscriptions. Please let me know if the above functionality is available and how to accomplish it. Namely, selling downloadable software for different prices to subscribers vs non-subscribers. Thanks
You can add product to aMember CP and name it "Software". It will work, why not? Of course, it is possible. However, user will anyway get username/password - ordering processing will be exactly the same.
Sorry if these are dumb questions. So when someone purchases a download, how will they be presented with the link to download the software? Also, if we purchase the full version of the software, does it come scrambled like it is now, or do we get the source code so we can put some hacks in where needed?
