I'm on Script Version: 3.1.8PRO We have a product that is $19.95 for a trial 3 months, we wanted it to recur after that at $9.95 / month when that expired. I set up the product: Price: 9.95 Duration: 1 Months Trial 1 Price: 19.95 Trial 1 Duration: 3 Months (see image) However, people are getting charged 19.95 after the initial 3 months have expired, not 9.95 like we want. A) Is it possible to do what we want (19.95 for 3 months, then recurring 9.95/month)? B) How should the product be set up? Many, many thanks if you can solve this. -gwyn
Are these existing subscribers on paypal? they are locked in to whatever pricing plan they signed up under at paypal. David
Many thanks for replying, David, Yes they signed up via PayPal for this subscription product that was configured like I mentioned ( Price: 9.95 Duration: 1 Months Trial 1 Price: 19.95 Trial 1 Duration: 3 Months ) So we hoped that even though they use paypal, the price could be changed after one cycle. I'm working with amember's support center/ ticketing system and they say it should work as we want as we had it configured. If the issue gets solved I'll post back here.
Not with paypal regular- you wont be able to change their pricing. Once they signup for a price in paypal- thats the price they get until they cancel. I dont think paypal would be happy with vendors suddenly changing the price of their subscriptions after the agreement has been made.... Paypal pro may be different. David
