I've been busy setting Amember V.4 up. Most of it is clear once you start playing around with it. I just wondered though in what case one would upload a folder instead of a file? I have zip files that I have uploaded and protected. I did not include any folders.

My preferred method is to create a folder, protect with amember folder protection, and then create Links as needed to the files. This way I can easily update them via FTP.

David, above you said you create a folder. Where exactly do you put that folder within Amember? And when you say you create links as needed to the files, do you mean within the Links part within the Amember dashboard area?

If your site is set up like this
    site.com/amember
I'd stick it outside the amember directory
    site.com/content/premium

Links- in the protect content of amember admin. This will create links for you in the active resourses area of the amember members page.
