Our setup is as follows with categories:

    > software
    > software/football
    > software/baseball

We have a PRODUCT A which is set:
"To order this product user must have an"
    ACTIVE CATEGORY "software/football"

However, if we set it up this way, PRODUCT A will show for any user trying to signup.

The way I interpret this is supposed to work, is that the product should only be available for signup IF and ONLY IF the user has an active product from the software/football category.
Is this a bug, or am I interpreting how this is suppose to work incorrectly?

    Hello,

I guess it is possible to purchase multiple product at once in your setup (either your signup form allow to choose multiple product or you use shopping cart module). In such case aMember check if user can meet requirements during one purchase ie. user add to cart both products - product from categrory software/football and Product A.

In case of you try to complete order of Product A without product from category software/football then you will see error that you need to add product from actegory software/football in order to complete purchase.

    Best Regards.

    I don't really follow you.

I would like the product to not show as an option, UNLESS the user has a subscription to a product from the "software/football" category.

If I set it up with an individual product that exists in there, this works.
If I use the broad category setting available, it doesn't work.

So I sent a ticket in, and the dude who is responding can't grasp what is taking place.
We've had to go back and forth 3 times now.

Is there any way you can jump into this ticket?
Or should I just assume this is a bug that isn't going to get fixed?
