I just upgraded my PayPal account to "PayPal Payments Pro". When I tried to place my first order in amember 4.2.7, my order was rejected by PayPal with this response about "DPRP disabled": ENCODED DETAILS: Array ( [TIMESTAMP] = 2013-01-29T19:57:45Z [CORRELATIONID] = 40f24f9218393 [ACK] = Failure [VERSION] = 63.0 [BUILD] = 4181146 [L_ERRORCODE0] = 11586 [L_SHORTMESSAGE0] = DPRP is disabled. [L_LONGMESSAGE0] = DPRP is disabled for this merchant. [L_SEVERITYCODE0] = Error ) I then asked PayPal support department to enable DPRP for my account. Here is the response from PayPal support: DPRP is a recurring payments service that is an add on for a service called Website Payments Pro, which is not what you have. You have PayPal Payments Pro, which gives you access to PayPal's gateway service, unlike Website Payments Pro. DPRP is not something you will be able to use since Website Payments Pro is no longer offered. You need to integrate into a website/shopping cart that is compatible with either PayPal Payments Pro or Payflow Pro. Is am extremely confused about this response. Alex, can you please clarify.
I tested my new PayPal Payments Pro data with the latest amember (using the demo site you offer). Processing failed again with the same DPRP problem. I think existing Website Payments Pro accounts will continue to function correctly via DPRP However, I think amember4 has a serious problem for all new PayPal Payments Pro accounts.
For what it is worth, my PayPal Payments Pro data functions perfectly via Payflow Pro gateway on amember3.
