I am really confused on the password entry field.

I created a form for affiliate sign up, used all defaults .

On the form, initially it says, it must be 6 or more characters in length may only contain letters, numbers, and underscores

When someone tries to sign up, they get an error on the password. It says, Password should contain at least 2 capital letters, 2 or more numbers and 2 or more special chars.

So which is it and how do I make them require the same security scheme.

Can I just have a simple password scheme instead of this convoluted one?

    Hello,

I guess you have option to require strong password enabled.
You just need to disable this option at
aMember CP -> Configuration -> Setup/Configuration (Require Strong Password)

I hope it resolve your issue.

I also want to mention that you can alter any label that you see on signup form (Including error messages).
You can do it in form editor
aMember CP -> Configuration ->Forms Editor (eidt)

just click link 'labels' on desired brick and you can alter wording according your needs.

    Best Regards.
