Anyone else have a similar experience?

Using PayPal payment standard, subscription feature.

Let's say we have 1,000 subscribers being billed the same amount of money each month, automatically unless they cancel. Some months PayPal only bills 600, other months 800, other months the full 1,000, then back to 600. (numbers used as an example).

One month a client will not be billed at all, another month they will be billed as normal.

Any ideas or insights? (This is not an issue with Amember, just a question about PayPal)

Whats your billing period? 30 days, 1 month? Perhaps the payment failed at paypal, and got pushed ahead 3 days?

Every 1 month. Nope, these aren't payments failed, these are payments never attempted to be billed.

Paypal have any response to this? Sounds like something on their end.

So far it's a paypal glitch. Some subscriptions are billed, some aren't. The majority of the problems seems to be with subscriptions due to be billed at the end of the month (ie: 29/30/31) will usually skip several months out of the year. So instead of being billed 12 times per year, they will be billed 6-10 times per year. I'll update as I gain more information.
