paypal double billing issue still not resolved

    For years I've struggled with this paypal double billing issue:

    - user signs up and pays with paypal
    - months later a recurring payment fails
    - amember immediately cancels users membership (this should not happen)
    - paypal waits 3 days to rebill user automatically
    - user doesn't know about paypals automatic attempt and logs in and manually adds another paypal payment before the 3 days.
    - paypal successfully rebills user 3 days later

    - user now has 2 recurring payments for the same product and is angry.
