Newbie installation problem, help please

    I follow the tutorial video to upload file add data...etc...`now I am stuck when the tutorial said:

    "go into your web browser, go to the web directory that you have amember install in."

    I don't understand it, can anyone explain what it mean?

    I would like to know the same thing.... Kinda stuck right now off of this technicality.

    You uploaded the aMember files to your server using an FTP program and unless you changed the default directory simply enter in your browser www.yourdomain.com/amember/

    I have submit installation request cause I really can't understand how to do it. I tried few times already yesterday. hopefully will hear back from the team soon.

    You may need to edit the .htaccess file.

    Open up .htaccess in the www.yourdomain.com/amember/

    theres a line that says:
    // RewriteBase /amember
    remove the // and change the /amember to your amember directory
    for example I use
    RewriteBase /members
