I'm about to migrate my entire site from HTTP to HTTPS.

I'm going to issue a 301 redirect after change all the mixed content internal links are changed to https.

Are there any changes I need to make within Amember?

My protected folders current point to: http://www.mysite.com/protected_folder/

Do I need to change that to https? If so, is there anything I have to do after that?

    All input is much appreciated.

    Hello,

    You need to navigate to
aMember CP -> Configuration -> Setup/Configuration (License and Root Url)

change both root url and secure root url to HTTPS and enable option 'Force https Connection'.

    Best Regards.

I'm running 4.3.5 and don't have the option: "'Force https Connection'" available. Does that matter?

It does not matter. It is additional option.
