    Guys,

I "managed" to lose my admin password. How can I recover it?

My site was a little inactive and now, my 3 months license has expired and I have to update the installation with the unlimited license. Sadly I do not find my admin password.

What happens if I can't update it in time?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Many thanks.

    Cheers.

Love it! Great tool. aMember just re-did my install, but I couldn't get access to my Admin cPanel with what should have been the proper password. This worked perfectly!

Did you unzip the fixadmin.zip file into your aMember folder?

Do you have aMember v4 installed? This thread is for aMember v3 and suggestions above will not work for aMember v4.
For aMember v4, use Lost password link on admin login page.

Hello there, I have the same issue, I can see my email in the admin table in the database, but when I use the tool to recover my password I get this message: The information you have entered is incorrect.
Username [myemail@hotmail.com] does not exist in database

@giuggio184: Are you using aMember v3 or v4? This tool only works for aMember v3. For aMember v4 you can use lost password link on admin login page.

    'don't work' isn't much help!

What version of aMember are you using. If V3 and you tried fixadmin what happened?

I'm having a similar issue to one described further above in this thread.

I've set up a test installation of aMember 4 in order to migrate. I've tried to log in again, but it always says my username/password is incorrect for admin. I've tried using the retrieve password input on the same page, but it says my email doesn't exist (I can see it in mySQL). I've also tried using /amember/admin-auth/send-pass but I never received the email from that address.

I would like to solve this issue on my test version before I progress further with the migration, as this would be problematic in our live environment.
