Hi, is it possible to have users login with their mail adress instead their user name? i thought it was enough by preventing them to choose their username at registration to achieve this, but it seems it doesnt work that way. Can you please give me a hint? Thank you.
amember has a customization that can do this, you should send in a tech support ticket. Although i wouldnt advise using this unless you have a very specific reason to. It could cause problems with integrations etc, when users want to change their emails, what happens to their posts on wordpress or PHPBB? David
You have to buy it separate or is it included? actually i think its better to have the login as you say but i was told to do so, so its not a matter of choice. Anyway, if you say its possible thats good news.

no need for a separate plugin or getting in touch with the tech support if you know how to edit files through notepad or another text editor... just read up on the instructions already posted here: http://www.amember.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7480
