Hello We recently installed SSL on our forum and the login page is pulling in our wordpress header/footer and does not pull in properly. See site: https://draperyanddesign.com/amember/member. How can this be fixed?
Load your page with web developer tools and you will see oodles of errors, including an invalid certificate error.
Thank you for your reply. I fixed the http error by using your suggestion but now I am confused as to why all the other errors. When amember installed the program, we opted to pulled my header and footer from wordpress to my login page (https:draperyanddesign.com/amember/member. My site (amember configured) sits at draperyanddesign.com My header and footer comes from a subdomain wordpress site at network.draperyanddesign.com Is this the cause for the errors? How do I fix it?
OK the next issue is likely to be that you do not have a certificate installed on the secondary domain, when using SSL all content from all sources also needs to be secure. Just looked it is not secure, also you will need to force SSL because you have non-https links on that site too. Being secure is not just a matter of dropping in a certificate, you need to change all of the components as well. Although there is loads of blurbo on the internet my simple articles may help Security and the internet & Privacy and the internet
Ok... image errors have been resolved. I added a second ssl certificate to the site that is pulling the header/footer image. Now.. How do I get my wordpress header/footers back to my signup page and login page? I am using the same template prior to the ssl changeover (starter) but I can't get my wordpress header/footer back!! How do I fix this issue?
Have you gone through all of the settings and changed stuff to be https:// and have you put a .htaccess in place so that non-ssl is directed to https:// As I think I already said it is not just a matter of dropping in certificates and everything magically happens.
I just loaded your login page you still have non https:// stuff in there so I would assume that things are not 'just so' ...
