Is there a way to give a VBulletin usergroup authoring permissions in Wordpress?

I can see how to do this on initial sign-up, i.e. you'd create a product that would assign both a WP and VB group with suitable authoring permissions in each.

However, how would you go about subsequently prompting a member (preferably via a VB usergroup promotion) so that they would have authoring permissions in WP...?

I think you would do this in amember, in protect content- integration, add an author usergroup to the amember products.
If this is done after the fact, yould need to do a rebuild.

    Thanks, David.
But I don't want this to show up as a product to users. It is effectively a promotion, controlled by moderators on the forum.
I suspect the only way to do this is to give VBulletin forum moderators access to the Wordpress installation, and get them to change user permissions manually on that, i.e. bypassing aMember...?

How many content creators are you talking about?
